Due to its location, diverse history, different cultural influences, landmarks and rich nightlife, the Serbian capital, Belgrade, has always been an attractive tourist destination.

“The city that never sleeps” grows, develops and follows the latest trends in the architecture of the world as well, yet again creating an image of a modern, global metropolis. A huge step in this direction is the development of the residential-commercial complex Belgrade Waterfront. (Belgrade Waterfront).

Built by the riverbed of the Sava River, Belgrade Waterfront is a monumental project of urban revitalization that gave the Serbian capital a new, modern and worldly look.

The complex worth three billion dollars, which includes 7000 residential units, is built on a location between the Belgrade Fair and Branko’s Bridge. This space used to be neglected and unattractive.

In the complex, a couple of architectural stories are intertwined, each with its own unique characteristics, tailored for enjoyment.

One of the most prominent stories that is part of Belgrade Waterfront belongs to the object BW Residences, an object that basically opened the complex, because it housed the first residents of the new landmark of the Serbian capital. This twenty-story building is characterized by its unique design, cascade look and spacious terraces with glass fences that create an opportunity for uninterrupted enjoyment in the beauty of the Sava River. Next to the object by the quay is the popular promenade called Sava promenade, decorated with artistic motifs, which represents a new attraction for the citizens and visitors, since a lot of events take place there and this gives the Belgrade’s core a new, urban charm.

A symbol of luxury and enjoyment of the whole complex is the 168-meters-tall tower, Belgrade Tower (St. Regis Belgrade), which consists of 42 stories, and the apartments provide a maximum functionality and represent an oasis of peace for those who spend their days in the Belgrade jungle. The carefully selected art pieces, textures and materials that are part of the tower are inspired by the Sava River and the spirit of the Serbian capital. This object is a reflection of the contemporary construction and provides a one-of-a-kind experience with the unique views that one of the tallest towers in the region offers.

One of the most attractive features within the Belgrade Waterfront complex is the shopping mall Galerija Belgrade. It has a distinctive design and it is situated on a unique location near Sava River. It includes a lot of features such as cinema, restaurants and exclusive stores that attract a lot of visitors.

We can agree that the existence of Belgrade Waterfront created a new modern thread in the Serbian capital, transformed the central part of the city and gave it an opportunity to follow the global trends uninterruptedly.

Following the sustainable development principle, the contemporary residential-commercial object created a new public space and a wide pedestrian zone and it brought all the cultural activities near, in the heart of Belgrade, and in doing so, it positioned the capital of Serbia higher on the list of locations worth visiting.
